Alia Bhatt reacts to claims of “botched botox” treatment

Alia Bhatt recently responded to social media speculation around a video that sparked rumours of a “botched Botox” treatment. Addressing these claims, Alia took to her Instagram stories, dismissing the speculation and condemning the assumptions about her facial expressions.

In her post, she clarified her position on cosmetic procedures, stating, “Absolutely NO JUDGEMENT towards anyone who chooses cosmetic corrections or surgery—your body, your choice. But wow, this is beyond ridiculous!” She criticized a video and articles that claimed she had a “crooked smile” due to alleged cosmetic treatments, saying, “This is your hypercritical, microscopic judgment of a human face. And now you’re confidently tossing around ‘scientific’ explanations, claiming I’m paralyzed on one side? Are you kidding me?”

Continuing her response, Alia pointed out the “absurd lens” through which women are often judged online, covering everything from their appearance to personal lives. She ended by highlighting the double standards and objectification women face in public discourse.
