‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua’ to replace ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’ on Star Plus

Star Plus has announced that it will be ending ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’ in July to introduce a new series titled ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua’.

The upcoming show features Aditi Tripathi as Deepika and Akkshith Sukhija as Chirag in the lead roles. ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua’ is a Hindi adaptation of the popular Bengali series ‘Anurager Chhowa’.

The initial promo of ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua’ centres around Deepika, a dark-skinned girl subjected to mistreatment by her stepmother and half-sister. Chirag, a young doctor from a wealthy family, falls in love with her. Despite his parents’ wishes for him to marry Deepika’s sister, Chirag remains resolute in his decision to marry Deepika.

The introduction of ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua’ aims to inject fresh energy into Star Plus’s programming lineup. It launches on Monday 15th July 2024.
