Jasmin Bhasin undergoes surgery after damaging corneas

Popular television actress Jasmine Bhasin recently faced a severe eye issue that required immediate medical attention. The actress, known for her roles in various TV series, spoke with the Times of India about the incident that led to her undergoing treatment for damaged corneas.

The issue began on 17th Jul when Jasmine was in Delhi to attend an event. She was preparing for the event and decided to wear contact lenses. However, shortly after putting on the lenses, she started experiencing significant discomfort and pain in her eyes.

“I was in Delhi for an event on July 17, for which I was getting ready. I don’t know what was wrong with my lenses, but after I wore them, my eyes started hurting, and the pain gradually got worse. I wanted to rush to a doctor, but since it was a work commitment, I decided to attend the event and then go to the doctor. I wore sunglasses at the event, and the team helped me manage things because, after a point, I couldn’t see anything,” Jasmine recounted.

Despite the increasing pain and impaired vision, Jasmine decided to fulfill her professional obligations. She attended the event wearing sunglasses, which helped her manage the situation with the assistance of her team. However, as the pain escalated and her vision deteriorated, it became evident that medical intervention was necessary.

Following the event, Jasmine sought medical attention and was diagnosed with damage to her corneas, likely caused by the contact lenses. The specifics of the treatment she underwent have not been disclosed.

BizAsiaLive.com wishes Bhasin a speedy recovery.
